Tay Estuary and Montrose Basin Local Plan District
Overview
This is the consultation hub for Scotland’s draft Flood Risk Management Strategies and Local Flood Risk Management Plans. The consultation will be delivered in two phases.
The delivery of the consultation has been affected by the SEPA cyber attack and increased lockdown restrictions as a result of COVID-19.
Phase one of the consultation opened on the 21 December 2020 with draft information for the Flood Risk Management Strategies available for review. This consists of background information for Local Plan Districts and Potentially Vulnerable Areas (PVAs) and identifies localised target areas.
In phase two, draft information for the Flood Risk Management Strategies and Local Flood Risk Management Plans will be available with consultation questions. In phase 2, we encourage you to provide your views and shape the way that flood risk is managed in Scotland.
Phase two was originally due to open on the 21 March 2021. As a result of the cyber-attack, this deadline was no longer feasible and phase one of the consultation has been extended. Phase two of the consultation will now be available on 30 July 2021.
